Imogen & Stacey Wednesday

Stacey and I met under very interesting circumstances.
It seems we have been living oddly parallel lives...

About 4 months ago, my cousin, Reino at the Great Frog in London mentioned to me that he hired a girl called Stacey... and that because we have similar features and funny accents, he kept calling her Imogen by mistake.

Fast forward a few weeks, and I had two different customers in TRIco mention my 'sister' that works at the TGF London...?! Things were starting to get strange... It is said that everyone in the world has a doppelganger somewhere out there, and I was curious to see if this girl was, in fact mine.

We found each other on Instagram... aaaand she happens to be just the sweetest thing in the world!! Needless to say, we immediately wanted to meet and frolic and be twinnies together, but this was not a simple feat, as we live on opposite sides of the planet, and neither of us is filthy rich.
SO, we resigned to that fact that we would *one day* meet when I took a trip to London,
or she to LA.

Stacey's boyfriend, Jordan, is a tattoo artist at Frith St Tattoo in London, right down the street from The Great Frog. He made a trip out to LA a few weeks ago to meet with friends and ride out to New York. I met Jordan, gave him some treats to take back for Stacey, and even got a 13 tattoo by him at True Tattoo on Friday 13th.
But, as you may have heard (see 3 posts earlier) the trip to New York never happened, because as they were leaving for their journey, Jordan was tragically hit on his bike and had both of his legs broken.

There has been an overwhelming response of friends and well-wishers who have shown their support for Jordan. ..This included helping to pay for a flight for Stacey to come out and be with him while he recovers from surgery.

So, although it is not under the best circumstances, Stacey and I got our wish!! Hooray!! It has been so much fun hanging out so far... we have a lot in common and we share some crazy coincidental circumstances. The world certainly works in mysterious ways...
I am so happy I made an awesome new friend and I feel that the adventures of Stacey and Imogen have only just begun...

Stacey & Imogen are wearing:

Shorts - Both from American Apparel...
Everything else - Found around TRIco
